Safety

Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The Urus has standard Precognition Rear that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The Bentayga doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

The Urus’ standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the Bentayga.

The Urus’ driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the Urus and the Bentayga have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front and rear side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all-wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, available night vision systems and around view monitors.

Warranty

The Urus’ corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the Bentayga’s (12 vs. 3 years).

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance on the Urus for 5 years and 75000 miles. Lamborghini will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 5 visits). Bentley doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Bentayga.

Engine

The Urus has more powerful engines than the Bentayga:

Torque

Urus SE 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid

789 HP

590 lbs.-ft.

Urus SE Performante 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid

801 HP

731 lbs.-ft.

Bentayga Hybrid 3.0 turbo V6 hybrid

456 HP

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the Urus SE running on electricity gets better mileage than the Bentayga Hybrid running on electricity (46 city/50 hwy vs. 41 city/43 hwy MPGe).

On the EPA test cycle the Urus SE running its gasoline engine gets better fuel mileage than the Bentayga V8 running its gasoline engine (19 city/21 hwy vs. 14 city/21 hwy).

The Urus SE can travel with zero emissions on electricity, only, on a full charge for 35 miles. The Bentayga Hybrid has to start its internal combustion engine after only 20 miles.

The Urus has 1.1 gallons more fuel capacity than the Bentayga Hybrid’s standard fuel tank (20.9 vs. 19.8 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the Urus’ brake rotors are larger than those on the Bentayga:

Urus

Bentayga

Front Rotors

17.3 inches

15.7 inches

Rear Rotors

16.1 inches

15 inches

Tires and Wheels

For better traction and acceleration, the Urus has larger standard rear tires than the Bentayga (315/40R21 vs. 285/45R21). The Urus’ optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the Bentayga (325/30R23 vs. 285/45R21).

The Urus’ standard 315/40R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Bentayga’s standard 45 series tires. The Urus’ optional 325/30R23 rear tires have a lower 30 series profile than the Bentayga SPEED’s optional 35 series tires.

Suspension and Handling

The Urus’ front to rear weight distribution is more even (54% to 46%) than the Bentayga’s (56% to 44%). This gives the Urus more stable handling and braking.

The Urus Performante handles at 1.04 G’s, while the Bentayga pulls only .78 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The Urus Performante executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.5 seconds quicker than the Bentayga (23.1 seconds @ .87 average G’s vs. 25.6 seconds @ .74 average G’s).

For greater off-road capability the Urus has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Bentayga (9.8 vs. 9.7 inches), allowing the Urus to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

Cargo Capacity

The Urus has a much larger cargo volume than the Bentayga with its rear seat up (21.8 vs. 17.1 cubic feet).

The Urus’ standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Bentayga w/Four Seat Comfort Specification doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.

Towing

The Urus’ standard towing capacity is much higher than the Bentayga’s (7716 vs. 7165 pounds).

is standard on all models of the Urus, using the Electronic Stability Program sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The Bentayga Hybrid doesn’t offer a trailer sway program.

Ergonomics

The Urus’ instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Bentayga does not have an oil pressure gauge.

If the windows are left open on the Urus the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Bentayga can’t use the remote to operate the windows.

The Lamborghini Urus has a standard Homelink wireless remote control system for garage door operation and device management, conveniently located on the overhead console. Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. Bentley charges extra for Homelink® on the Bentayga.

The Urus’ optional Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Park Assist will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Bentayga’s automatic parking system requires operating the brakes and transmission to safely park and it doesn’t offer remote control parking.

Economic Advantages

According to iSeeCars.com the 2026 Lamborghini Urus retains 65.87% of its original value after 5 years, significantly more than the 52.15% resale value of the 2026 Bentley Bentayga after five years, which can save the Lamborghini’s owner up to $17752 in depreciation.
