The Temerario has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Temerario offers an optional 360 degree parking monitor to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer any parking assist system.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Temerario’s optional Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side and automatically engage the brakes. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

Both the Temerario and the 12Cilindri have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems and available blind spot warning systems.

Warranty

The Temerario’s corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the 12Cilindri’s (12 vs. 3 years).

Engine

The Temerario’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 88 more horsepower (907 vs. 819) and 90 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 500) than the 12Cilindri’s 6.5 DOHC V12.

Fuel Economy and Range

Regenerative brakes improve the Temerario’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

Drivetrain

All wheel drive, available in the Temerario, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari 12Cilindri is not available with all wheel drive.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the Temerario’s brake rotors are larger than those on the 12Cilindri:

Tires and Wheels

For better traction and acceleration, the Temerario has larger rear tires than the 12Cilindri (325/30R21 vs. 315/35R21).

The Temerario’s 325/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the 12Cilindri’s 35 series tires.

Suspension and Handling

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Temerario is 1.4 inches wider in the front and .9 inches wider in the rear than on the 12Cilindri.

Ergonomics

The Temerario’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The 12Cilindri’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.
